you were brought into this world
as a gift from above
we forgot our differences
and learned how to love
i wish you were here
so we can forget all our tears
but God wanted you home
so rest your head
were all in sorrow
but it's probably for the best
miracles can happen
that doesn't mean they won't
your passing away
is a miracle in its own way
you're out of pain
you're out of sorrow
you gave us all
a better tomorrow
for showing us faith
and giving us hope
we love you JD
and we're glad you're home
