Favorite Quote:
It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing

Parents are the established gods
That I must obey.
I must contribute offerings of chores and fulfill my responsibilities
Else they become angry and rain down punishments from their high seats
Please the gods
And I receive rewards of money and freedom.
Parents are the established gods
That I must obey

I wrote this metaphoric poem as part of a poetry project for school. My inspiration for this poem came as I was thinking about what to write and i recieved a call from my mom. She was asking why I hadn't cleaned my room before leaving for school :x
