Being the youngest child
He thought he wasn’t cool enough
With a brain tumor at a young age
He reads at a 3rd grade level
Always getting picked on at school and home
Broke my heart
Sometimes he wished he was never born
He tries to hide the bruises
But they stick out like a sore thumb
The teacher wonders
But he doesn’t ask
He finds the courage to ask
But the pain is too bad
A rope hanging from the rafter in the basement
Separated life and death
The concrete block wrote
Jacob Allen Roberts
1987-1999
"Sometimes the shortest life,
Is the most inspirational."
