Crystallized honey dipped words
Slither, Hiss, Burn
Oh with their razor sharpened fangs
They dig; rip into the surface with a Bang!
Trailing poisoness scars/blisters
They crawl over us like a virus
Taking our hearts
We Starve! Crave! On hopeless dreams
Which wash away in this demon parade of slogans
And bold faced head lines
Now what we are is Nothing!
What made us, us is fading
Nothing! Just an empty shell
Spouting the rhetoric or war!
Death is here to us as individuals

I was inspired to write this piece because i wanted to express the self conflict that happens in ones mind
