you could talk to trash to me
and I wouldn’t be bothered
spit lies from your pretty little mouth
I’ll be watching as your glossy lips part like the red sea
as crushed beer cans spurt from behind your forked tongue
and cigarette butts leave a trail of ash behind in your throat
tissues imprinted with mascara spiders
that escaped from your eyes
entangled with inky newspapers that were left unread
all this and more oozes through your too white smile
your toxic gaze
go ahead, talk trash to me
I recycle anyways

this poem is really good i would love to hear you perform it out loud i like it because usually slam poems don't sound good when they are just written but yours did. I loved "mascara spider" it was really cute
