Unforgettable Lace
Most times I saw white beautiful lace
It would remind me of her
Her kind laughs loudly singing
Her beautiful smile lighting up a room
Her warm embracing hugs, making me feel at home
Just picturing that piece of lace
Laying kindly on her hair
I would feel that comforting warmth
And that unforgettable smell
Coming back again
Now I picture the same
Kind laugh
Beautiful smile
Warm hug
But lost
Gone
It feels like that loving person I knew
Will never return
And that love I felt
Disappeared
It feels like that lace will never have the same meaning
Then I think back to why that lace was on her head
And what it meant to her
And who it is for
That is who she is with now
In that beautiful place
And that is what I think of
As I see that lace again
