Words on paper
Release hidden feelings,
Hidden thoughts.

Sorrow, happiness, loneliness,
Joy, embarrassment, fear,
All emotions come alive
As words on paper.

Words on paper
Is like telling another person
All your secrets.
You relieve yourself of a burden.

Word after word
Slithers gracefully
On the snow white paper,
Alive like a snake.

Write more, until the book is full
Of dark, sweet, happy, sad, moments and memories.
The burdens are gone.

The author's comments:
Whether you share what you write, or keep it to yourself, it's best to let all the pent up words out.
