Crying
I have let it out,
Everything that I feel, everything that I know, everything I want,
The book has my secrets, my desires, my deepest, darkest threats,
Yet I still feel like crying
My eyes have fogged up and my throat is dry,
I look away to get my composure back,
I have let it all out,
So why do I still feel like crying?
I am not ashamed,
I am not like you, or her, or him,
I am like myself,
So why do I feel like crying?
No one will know that I have let it out in words I know I cannot speak,
I have let it out,
So why shouldn’t I cry?
