I am a free human
I wonder what will happen to mankind,
I hear bombs bursting, of trumpets of peace
I smell mustard gas, or champagne
I want peace
I am a free human

I pretend to be jingoist
I feel pain
I touch invisible walls, set by mistrust
I worry about the other side
I cry over the causalities
I am a free human
I understand that everyone thinks they are right
I say that the wars must stop
I dream that they do
I try to point out the redundancy
I hope that the world understands
I am a free human
