When it happens...
Don't cry till your eyes are swollen
Instead,
use them to find all the details that i didn't look at

When it happens...
Don't close your heart off to love
Instead,
open it up and give all you can spare

When it happens...
Don't ask "why did it have to be her?"
Instead,
ask "What can i do to help people with it?"

When it happens...
Don't live in the past, where all our memories will be
Instead,
make new ones that you will cherish just as mush as the old

When it happens...
Don't be crying at your loss
instead,
smile at all the good times you experianced

When it happens...
Don't frown upon the earth
Instead,
look up to the sky and smile

You wont have to live without me
I wont be very far away

Because the sun will be my smile
and the rain, my tears
the wind will be my whisper
and the moon shall be my ears

haha, thanks... it took me forever to write the last paragraph because i wanted the poem to end with a... i don't know how to explain it... a  ka-boom? but perhaps a little gentler than that :)

you wear guilt like shakles on your feet, like a maiden in distres, like a halo in reverse

all of it was beautiful, the last paragraph though, really was the icing on the cake (:
