It’s amazing what you can do with a little thread and needle
Alterations.

All I have to do is stand very still
As she pins here and there
Everything seems to be coming together

My life can use some alterations
Do a little fixing here
AND
A little fixing there
(or maybe a lot)


Maybe that will solve the problems of the world
(Doubt it)
Poverty –
hemmed here
Violence—
Stitched right up
And sooo on

But we all know those problems won’t be gone any time soon
Not even when “Big Brother is watching”
What a joke!!

Alterations?
Temporary
Those stitches are gonna fall out soon
(But I hope not because I need this dress to fit)

BUT
Temporary could be ok
If it will fix the world for one day…
