or loss.
it hasn't felt
a broken heart or
lived through someone
passing on.
this poem won't
describe a scene of
beauty or inspire
anything in
anyone.
it's never
known a sunset
on a lake or
given you a
reason to work
harder than ever
before.
this poem
won't include a
story or
administer advice.
it’s never heard
of a drop-out
becoming a professor
or learned to
accept it's flaws.
this poem isn't
anything more
than a group
of words.
it will do nothing
more than simply
exist.
