I'm glad you're in a better place
From down below, I can see your happy face
You always knew how to make me laugh
You made it through a troubled path
You could make anything rhyme with tuna
And you danced around stores like you were luna
You thought about everyone, before you thought of yourself
In my heart you're on the top shelf
From one of your angels, with all of my heart
I know even death can't keep us apart.
I hope you know, how much I love you.

My grandfather had just died and I wrote it to read at his funeral.
