Mexico
Why did God make Mexico?
Is it the radiant sun that glistens down all day and layers you with an attractive tan,
Or maybe the white sand that is soft enough to hold a baby,
Could it be the lifestyle of slow, relaxed living,
And how you don’t have to worry about anything because you know you are in a different world,
A world of days at the beach and tacos at dinner,
Where everyone is friendly and strangers become temporary neighbors.
Or could it be that one night,
When I sat on the beach during the darkest hour well past dusk and into the night,
And all I could hear was the crash of the waves that were not visible to my eyes,
That sound was one I would love to hear every day of my life, but I can’t,
So I guess that’s what makes Mexico special,
And maybe that’s why God made Mexico.
