Run Away

What’s the point of trying
When you never have a clue
Inside my soul is dying
Help what should I do
I can’t do anything right
That’s what my friends told me
I should run away tonight
And swim across the sea
In other countries I’ll be perfect
To them I’ll be a queen
Run away from the life I wrecked
Far away to a land I’ve never seen
I’ll run away at midnight
When everyone is asleep
I’ll leave without a fight
In the night without a peep
I will not change my mind
What’s done is done forever
You’re the one who was blind
I can make it I’m so clever
Into the night I disappear
This is when I say goodbye
As I wait on the cold dark pier
I turn around and start to cry

Wow, I love it...your poem truly captures the essence of wanting to start over and be free yet still being torn about leaving...amazing! Keep that pen and paper in hand:) Could you chack out my poetry sometime please;) I would love your opinion:)
