my heart lies
shattered at your feet
as we say out goodbyes
i shouldnt be in tears
i knew i wasnt worth the truth
you promised to never hurt me
well you cut me in two
you promised
that you would always hold me close
but i am no longer near
you promised
that you would always be here
for me in my times of desporation
so where are you now
you're the one causing my frusation
so many promises
so many lies
that i allowed myself to believe
when beanth it all
you never truely loved me
you promised me, you lied to me
