The girl
I'm a poem, no one reads
because the title
doesn't stand out,
the beginning
is uninteresting,
the stanzas
don't draw in attention,
the subject
is hard to understand,
the rhyme scheme
is stretched too far,
the beats and rhythm
don't flow to other people,
and no one gets to
the ending,
the final lines
which explain it all
in detail.
and people wonder
why they don't know me,
the girl,
who writes poems
no one
reads.
