Hatred will only end when blood is spilled.
The blood of a man thickens with the thirst and desire for revenge.
And if a man is to become complete again he must let the rivers of blood flow
To cleanse his soul. And on the day of final judgment
A true man without a heavy heart for revenge,
And once the rivers of hate have depleted
Will he be granted peace of mind and soul.

The author's comments:
This short poem is meant to emphasize the power that hate and revenge can have on a person. Also that revenge is never the final answer, and that to get over revenge one must forgive and forget. And not be to hasty to take action. Revenge is one of the strongest emotions along with anger and hate. Once s person lets these two emotions take over than they have let common sense and than an emotion controls them completely.
