It’s quiet
too quiet
as I walk
through the moss covered floors
leaves swirl all around me
in a beautiful harmony

It’s perfect
too perfect
as I look around


I see sunlight
dancing off of
dew covered flowers

Then I hear a
faint ringing sound
in the distance
that grows louder
and louder until
I wake and
the quiet was no more
