Life for us is filled with anything but time
when time is all we really need.
Those hopes of getting through today,
are now mere wishes of living those days again.

We start off by letting those days go
becoming accustomed to that life;
day in and day out
following that same boring routine.

Before we even notice,
everyone around us is doing the same.
We have let it go,
our time; letting it slip away
and now it's almost gone.

How are we supposed to get it back?
We can't. There is no way.
All we can do is move forward
embracing every moment.

Don’t let it pass you by.
Time slips away quickly
even if you don't think it will today.
Because tomorrow you’re going to wonder
how your time slips away.
