You Are Mine

When you came to sit by my side
I knew you were
Mine.

You stand way too tall
But you are still
Mine.

Four months of military training
But that soon to be trained killer
Will still be
Mine.

I know you can’t do this by
Yourself- do you think
I can be
Yours.
