Selfishness

I looked at you, you had no clue that we we're falling to pieces.
Grass came and so did snow, so did the tears that enveloped slow.
I couldn't believe we went off track, a track where we could do anything to get back.

The roses you gave me, I threw out. It wasn't worth any of the doubt.

Oh I can still here that humming of those birds we'd be so enlightened by, But you won't even sing along anymore, you won't even try.

My heart is dieing literally, turning black.
But you don't even do anything to get the color back to red.
Selfishness.
