FantasyLand.
Fantasy land,
One with meadows,
Rivers,
Trees,
A land that comes to mind when you hear “fantasy”
A fairytale land
One I always believed in
‘Till it dawned on me…
Everyone lies
People lie to please
There is no such land
No such place
Though I’ve built one in my mind
One to go to when needed
A world with no hopes
To keep them from crashing
A place far from reality
To satisfy, if but for a moment
Maybe one day I’ll show you
I’ll show you my fantasy land
Black and white
Just like my mind
Splattered with my tears
A reminder of everything
Of my life
My blood
My pain
My mistakes
The past etched into everything I see
Even in my fantasy land
Even a land meant to help
One to go to when needed
I can’t forget
I can’t get away
