I’m blinded by the silence in my head
It floats around like a heavy mist
crawling into my subconscious.
I can’t escape the overwhelming pain
frustration, confusion, fear, insecurity
Solitude in a crowded room
Fire consumes my reality
and suddenly the smoke clears
A beam of sunlight shines through the clouds
and warms my face.
It shines hope down upon me.
A day has passed, another begins.
With every rotation of the earth
comes opportunity for growth and happiness
The secret is to grasp it.
