blessed by the fire

in comes the light; the morning
breathes slowly, cooly, calm.
it does not have much to say,
but it falls like a bomb.
it explodes out in waves of sound
and light rays to your face.
it screams out in supernal glory,
narcissistic in its grace.
it enters in and walks around
knowing what it needs.
bird calls and shouting kids;
the fire -- nature feeds.
