Its hard to keep my eyes open.
But I always manage
For you.
Staying up all night
Texting you
Talking silently.
Sharing secrets
Memories
Hopes
And dreams.
I wake up in the morning
Just as tired as the night before
Struggle through the day
Only making it through because
Of you.
Knowing you await me
As soon as I leave the building
I mentally label as
Hell.
I’m still exhausted.
There’s no denying it.
But you make it all worthwhile.
