Summer Daze

Sitting here, walking there
The ground beneath my feet
The rain has a pitter patter beat
Fighting its way through the clouds
To shine on another day
Brining warmth to those who
Seek it most
Children laughing, smiling brightly
Watching the weather turn around
Running through the muddies puddles
That haven’t been eaten up yet
What a beautiful day.

The author's comments:
I was looking out the window in my creative writing class and i watched how the weather changed and it reminded me of how excited i used to get when it would get nice out and i could still go play in the mud puddles.
