The Rain Falls

As the Rain falls to the ground
The Lightning strikes
The Thunder booms
The Raindrops gather-
Puddles form
The night is long, cold
The Rain is drenching
We hurry to get inside
Raindrops drip down off the roof
The windows are fogging
I can only see the night sky as the Lightning shows
The Thunder rattles the whole house
The sound puts me to sleep
As morning drew-
The skies are blue with out a cloud in sight
Kids play in the puddles from the storm
