Never Ending Cycle

And the Earth will continue spinning,
the Sun will continue shining,
and the tides will continue to change.

No matter how much torment
and suffering
is being delt to
the insignifigant arrogance
christened to be "Life."

No matter who lives, who dies
which battles are won,
or which empires fall;
the path of the universe
will not change.

The Earth will continue spinning,

Until something
destroys them all away.
