Six Feet Above.
I pumped my legs.
In, out.
In, out.

I smile down
at the amazed
faces of the
other children.

They all wanted
to be swinging
high in the air.

Taller than the
recess teacher.
Taller than the big
huge slid.

I know what I was.
Six feet above
the games of tag.
The screaming children.

Six feet above.
