I laid my heart out
for you to see
You mixed and mingled
everything
And left me with
these broken scars
Cut from lies
for me to mend
The ghost of our
memories haunts me still,
Following me through
the fog of my days
I feel like I'm running
from my own shadow
Will I ever escape
the angel's shroud?
A mountain of looming
darkness I cannot scale?
Eternal gloom
in the moon's eclipse
Where is the light
in this forgotten abyss?
Seemingly ignorant
in ephemeral bliss
