A life spent looking down.
I stand almost six feet tall
Above the crowd
Above them all
My head hung low
Its hard you know
To have all this height
Just doesn’t feel right
I wish I could shrink and inch or two
Then maybe guys wouldn’t look up at me an say
“Wow!
Dude, your huge!”
Then maybe I wouldn’t put a fake smile on my face
And nod like its okay.
Then maybe I could stand with my shoulders straight
And not hunched, ashamed of my length.
Then maybe people would see
Its not easy being as tall as me.
