I held my head high, as you walked on by.
Your laughter makes my heart throb with every beat.
When I think of you, my eyes swell up with tears and I'm down on the floor, passed out from the heat.
Your smile makes me throw up, from all the butterflies in my gut.
Fate seperated us, and I sit here and rust, without your love, without your touch.
Your hugs warmed my bones, and your breath chilled my soul.
I loved everything about you, and sadly... I still do.

The author's comments:
After my boyfriend broke up with me, I felt horrible for months on end. I could never get him out of my head, so one day I decided so sit down and let everything pour out of my head onto a piece of paper and I came up with this. I hope people will realize that they're not the only one feeling the pain. Everyone is.
