Going Crazy

walking in. checking in. sitting down.
ticking clocks. tapping feet. repeated sighs.
clicking pens. flipping pages.
cream walls. green carpet. bright lights.
fake plants. screaming children.
rolling eyes. popping gum.
spider webs. ripped magazines. one-way windows.
low ceilings. leather couches. empty trash cans.
untouched brochures. noisy computers. shining sun.

going crazy.

The author's comments:
One day, I found myself sitting in a waiting room located in Pine Rest. These are all the things I saw and heard, and I knew then, I needed to write it down. As soon as I got home, that's what I did.
