I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost, Than never to have loved at all - Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Drifting on a cloud feather light and sweet,
The darkness of the night meets the brightness of my dreams,
Reality doesn’t exist if only for a few seconds,
For in this dream I’m in your arms safe from the world around me,
Cause you’re the only one I need,
Oh I wish my dreams were the reality.

I wake up from this brilliant dream,
Tears rolling down my cheek,
Falling so softly onto my pillow,
The dream seems to haunt me,
And each time I wake up I keep expecting you here to silence the tears,
But once again I fall asleep again with a new puddle on my pillow.

Drifting on a cloud feather light and sweet,
The brightness of the day meets the darkness of my dreams,
Reality seems to dawn like the sun on the horizon,
For sometimes reality is better than what it seems,
Cause your the only one I need.
