Late nights make for silly rambles
So open the door and blow out the candles
And we'll take a stroll
Through my mind
All life's distractions, contraptions
Are mansions
Compared to the size of my minuscule self
Aim and direction
Quality's perfection
Sit farther than my eight tentacles reach
I'm counting sheep
Ludicrous sheep
Sheep with feathers and fins and antennae
Nothing's clear
Not anymore
These things are near
But thoroughly obscured
Why can't I seem to focus
On the essential?
