Ugly people and
Sweat stains and
Bad notes in songs and
Coughing.

Off-center pictures,
Mistakes,
Old age,
Bitterness,
Hate, and
Shouting.

Hurt and injustice and bleeding and
wasting away,
Guns and violence and disease and crying.

Dust in mirrors and
Zits on faces and
Tears in love and
Laughter in death.

Without the bad moments,
Life couldn't be
So good.
