I remember
I remember the sight of the leaves,
blowing a rainbow of red and orange everywhere
as if it was a painting with all the little details in it.
I remember the smell of the burning logs
as they are being lit
to keep us warm.
I remember the feeling of butterflies flying in my stomach,
too excited to even stand still,
as if the butterflies were controlling me.
I remember the taste of pumpkin pie,
moist and warm,
as if it just came out of the oven.
I remember the sound of laughter,
and the camera clicking,
as it was capturing the moment
