When I was a little kid my parents always say Danae go… and don’t…..

Don’t whine please there is no need,
Don’t steal the toys from class,
Don’t cry for things you want, it doesn’t work with me,
Don’t push your brother that’s mean,
Don’t talk back to me,
Don’t stand to close to the TV,
Don’t forget to your vegetables,
Don’t eat that crayon,
Don’t jump on the bed.

Now that I am a teenager my parents say Dane don’t….
Don’t forget to call me,
Don’t lie to me,
Don’t sleep with headphones in your ears,
Go wash your hair,
Go turn off the TV in your room because you’re punished now,

But when I’m a parent, I’ll tell my kids don’t….
Don’t play in the paint,
Don’t lie to me,
Don’t forget to wash the dishes,
Don’t forget to pick up your brother,
Don’t forget to do your homework or Santa won’t bring you anything,
Don’t break your toys,
Don’t touch that plug,
Don’t hit your friends,
Don’t bite your uncle,
Don’t stare at the TV like that,
Don’t eat the banana’s peel,
Don’t forget to call your dad,
Don’t call me by my first name,
Don’t put hand in your mouth,
Don’t act mean towards others.
