Dark World

There is a dark world behind me; that you would not expect
Secrets clawing, gnawing, struggling to escape; but I keep them intact, trying to cover them with my mask
And when I wear my mask, it makes me believe that everything's gone and I am free; yet I come to realize that masks only cover up the outside, when i really need it to cover up the inside.
