"In the deepest hour of the night, confess to yourself that would die if forbidden to write. And look deep into your heart where it spreads its roots, the answer, and ask yourself 'Must I write?'" - Rainer Maria Rilke

Far away, The ships sail by,
And I stand on the shore confused, why these ships don't fly.
The sky sometimes looks like an ocean too,
So why can't we float through that blue?

Birds fly by, just like the fish,
A sunset with you is all that I wish,
Exploring a new atmosphere,
And we couldn't run into land up here.

So would you go and sail with me, if the sky could be our sea?
Bigger than the Hudson Bay,
We could just sail through the sky all day.
The clouds would swirl like the sea foam,
as the stars would guide us home.

This is a poem i'm quite proud of. I was listening to ambient music and thinking of the ocean. It's about how love is sometimes different then what you'd expect and how I don't want something everyone else has, I suppose, I want something special.
