To send love and get nothing in return
It's not the easy things that let you get to know a person.
If every shared story
could create an actual past
we would all know eachother
so much better.
Wish we could erase the world
and crawl into the silence
of the truth around us.
I thought I was wearing him down to my level.
Getting him closer to me,
but in the end it was only myself
I was wearing down.
I just keep trying to find my place
here in this world around me
without you in the way
but you're always there
to stop my thoughts
to block my path
to make me want to turn back to you
but I treck on
I pass you like the road block you have become.
