Grayness

The room is pitch black
Hiding in the shadows
No source of light

All alone in the emptiness

You can’t find your way around
Afraid the floor will end at any step
A simple left turn brings you to a door

You fumble to find the doorknob

Turning the knob the light explodes
The new room is blinding
No where to hide

Still all alone in the emptiness

You find a new door
The room is now visible with no way out
You sit down in the corner crying

All alone in the grayness
