Astounding Me

A trickle of water,
The sound of a wood pecker,

Far off,
Bugs chirping, humming,
Fills silent ears.

Watching and waiting,
For a breathtaking sight,
A wishful sigh,

Yet content,
To hold the nature around me.

Newfound goslings wander,
A miniscule turtle’s head sticks,

Out of water,
Bluebirds fly and land,
Perching on tall thin stalks.

To sit in this wonder forever,
By the vast ocean perhaps,
Or in the wetlands, forests, great valleys,
So glorious and versatile,

Mother Nature.

This was nice! The picture brought back memories, I used to work for a boat club.

I love your grasp of nature, it's really cool!
