Pressure Pressure
Temple pounding
I have to do well
You know I can do well
Girl you know you going somewhere
Is what I always hear
But where, what if?
Mind racing to beat every dead line
What if I attend college?
To sidewalk high
Dimes and Nickels their asking me for
Boy you know what that could get you
A bag of potatoes
And may be some Lego’s
Ashamed to see my family
Looking up at the sky
Asking God why
What did we do wrong?
To have my heart so high
And now she’s floating in the sky.
