"Carpe diem."

We always are
So busy looking at
The past that
We miss the beauty of
The moment
We are
Living in

Even
Right now

Only the smart, talented, amazing, and insane are remembered in history.

It's so true. I love how the layout of your poem kind of reflects the tone and message, that we need to live in the present, life is fleeting, appreciate it for what it is.The poem is short, life is short. It all fits.

It's short, but it's still true. Very... oh what's the word... poignant, I guess you could say. That's not the right word. The way you write it reminds me of this really good famous poet. Oh well. That was supposed to all be a compliment, anyway.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

This is so true!
