As the day comes to an end
The sun descends from its throne
On top of the world
Showing its unseen beauty
The golden tear drops from the sun
Glisten in the now placid water
Acting like a mirror
Reflecting its once kept secrets
The sky opens,
Revealing a beautiful orchestra of colors
That peer through the transparent clouds
And explode around their highlighted outlines
As it takes its last look over the horizon
It begins to melt into the earth
Allowing darkness to set in
And mask my world until morning
