The Shadows Of Silence
In the absence of light
No one to talk to,
Blind,
The night snatches my eyes.
The walls start closing,
The pulse I can only hear,
My heart starts rising,
Deserted in the room.
My vision is faded,
The drums in my head,
Hearing every assonance,
Feeling as one and left out.
Dull as can be,
A million things visit my head,
Being killed or hurt is not my option,
Anything can happen,
No one can find me,
An exit I must find,
And the beam doesn’t appear.
Somebody is coming!
Are they grabbing me?
I cannot see,
I’m nervous and isolated.
The lights are still out.
