who do you turn to
in your times of need
who you know you can trust
and their love grew like a seed
at first they had to nurture it
give it kisses and hugs
keep away the darkness
and all the creepy bugs
when it finally cracked open
and out came a little plant
they were always there
saying a supportive steady chant
and when the storms raged hard
slamming it to and fro
they were always there
constantly in the know
and when the flowers bloomed
on that now giant plant
praise and awe gushed out
not a complaint or a rant
they were always there
just doing a great friends job
