Hard to Imagine
Opening my eyes to mirror your face in front of mine
still breathing heavily and half asleep
foreign but familiar
intertwined and so safe
only beads of each of our sweat between us
Hard to imagine.
Feeling your willingness to let me see what you had done
Convincing myself of the truth in your words
Still feeling your love in my fingertips
Hard to imagine.
Lonelier as the day grows old
Invisible barriers won't seem to take us quite as far
2 weeks and the glass between us gaining layers, thickening to the point that even my image of you is blurred
I can't feel you
Hard to imagine.
